Right next to the Ghost Town Varosha, Palm Beach is without doubt the weirdest and no less beautiful beach of the island. Behind the beautiful beach is the ruins of hotels with blown-out windows, and the southern end comes to a sudden halt with the barbed wire and metal poles that reach out to the sea – with a soldier standing in the watchtower ahead.
Palm Beach is a public beach and sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire. Water sports are also provided at the beach.
The beachside restaurant offers a wide range of food from sncaks to fish and meat meals good value for money.
